Our class is for students with special needs in grades
K-2. Our classroom is decorated like a small town or city. We call our classroom "Curryville"! Each area of our classroom coincides with a different building in Curryville.

Bus Station
The bus station area is the first place we stop in Curryville each day, and the last place we visit before going home. We also use the bus station for partner reading time.
Computer Station
At the computer station, we have programs to use for literacy, or other activities to do when we have free time.
Learning Factory
The learning factory has many uses. It is where we do small group work, progress monitoring and guided reading.
Library
Our library has leveled books for guided reading and our book baskets. It also has books for browsing when we have free time.
Recreation Center
Our recreation center is used to practice skills that are learned in class.
Town Hall
Our town hall is where we meet as a group many times throughout the day.
Warehouse
Our warehouse holds materials and supplies like math manipulatives, pencils, scissors, crayons and markers.
