Dear Lindsay Families,
The ISAT Test is Coming!
This year 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students in Illinois will be taking the Illinois State Achievement Test (ISAT) March 6-16. If you have children in these grades please mark the dates on your calendar.
All schools must have a 95% participation rate, so we ask that you do not schedule appointments or other days off during this time. It is also very important for students to be on time to school during the ISAT. If classes have started the testing, late students must sit in the office until their class finishes the test.
The Adequate Yearly Progress for 2012 is 92.5% of all students meeting and exceeding in math and reading. It is very important that you help your child succeed by encouraging them to do well and by making sure they eat a good breakfast and get enough sleep each night during this testing period.
We will have our annual ISAT night February 29. As in years past, students will be able to use computers to practice test questions. We will also have an ISAT jeopardy game as a fun way to share information about the test.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement each day.
