These artifacts, Greek columns, were used in ancient Greece. These artifacts are found all around the world. They were first built by the ancient Greeks before one thousand B.C. The Doric Column is the simplest, the Ionic is the middle, and the Corinthian is the most elaborate. The word column comes from the Greek word "koma". This artifact is used all around the world. It has been used in architecture for thousands of years.
