Gifted Open House November 16th
Parents and Students:
Invitations will be mailed to students who qualify for Franklin's Gifted Program the week of November 1.
If your child has been invited to attend the Franklin Middle School Gifted Program for the 2012-2013 school year, we will have our Invite Night on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011, from 6 p.m.-7 p.m.
We look forward to meeting you and your child and sharing all of the positive attributes of our program. Come hear our Jazz Band, meet the gifted teachers, learn more about our academic departments, tour the Franklin facilities, and watch a short movie that highlights our program. We will also have current Franklin Gifted students on hand to address any questions that you or your child may have about the many extra-curricular activities offered at FMS.
On behalf of the Franklin Gifted Program, we look forward to seeing you on November 16th!
Gifted Night September 27th
Dear Parents:
You are invited to attend Gifted Parent Night on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the new school year with the Franklin gifted family.
The gifted teachers, along with the art, health and tech teachers will be presenting a brief overview of their classroom expectations, homework issues, and curriculum goals.
Besides having the opportunity to hear from your child’s teacher, you will have the opportunity to walk around the building, view class projects and science labs.
If you are the parent of a 6th grade student, please report to Falcon Gym. 7th grade parents will report to the newly renovated Franklin Library, while 8th grade teachers will be in the FMS Cafeteria.
This evening is not a parent conference atmosphere, but more of an informational group setting.

Six Franklin students participated in NUMATS during the 2010-2011 school year. Two Franklin students, Varun I. and Hamed K., produced award winning scores by NUMATS!
